It is dangerous to turn on the A/C right after you start the engine!

Every time we leave our car, we close the windows and even in a shade, it accumulates 400-800 mg of benzene. Those levels are even higher when it is parked in the sun, they can reach 4000 mg which is 40 times more than the allowed levels.

When we sit in our car with our windows closed we inhale the benzene which is very toxic and has negative effects on our bone tissue, kidneys, and liver.

Another thing we should do before we turn the A/C is to open the windows and here is why:

When we turn on the A/C first it ejects the hot air which is mostly benzene and very toxic. Due to that, you should always open the windows first when you sit in your car and then turn on the A/C. After that leave the windows for a few more minutes before you close them.
