5.Lakshadweep Coral Reef 5/8

It mesmerizes you with its eternal beauty. However, corals are very sensitive to the temperature changes and they are struggling to survive the drastic climatic changes. Temperature fluctuations lead to 'bleaching' of the corals, that is loss of pigmentation and gradually it results in the coral's death. According to a study conducted by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, coral reefs face dire threat from pollution, rummaging of navigational channels, coral mining, and blast fishing.

6.Valley of Flowers 6/8

The Valley of Flowers is situated in Bhyundaar Valley at an elevation of 3,658 mts above sea level. The valley lures several trekkers from across the world as well, and is recognized as World HeritageSite by UNESCO.For most of the year, it is inaccessible, but once the snow melts, it melts your heart as well, while it unfolds its hidden beauty. But, the beauty of the valley is in danger with climatic disturbances, deforestation, and huge crowd treading the valley making the place prone to destruction.

7.Dechen Namgyal Monastery, Ladakh 7/8

Situated at 14,000 feet above sea level on the Western Tibet Plateau, it was built under the supervision of Ladhaki King, Sengge Namgyal while Tibetan priest Stag­Tsang­ras­pa assisted in the construction. The beautiful ancient monastery is difficult to access as it is situated in a remote location. With unavailability of proper repair work, funding and other natural calamities, the monastery now stands in a devastated state
