Qatar stands with earthquake victims of northern Iraq; sends relief aid to victims

In an effort to support earthquake victims in northern Iraq, Qatari Emir His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani gave directives to send relief to the affected the region. 

On Wednesday, an Air Force (C17) airliner left Qatar for Iraq carrying relief aid, wherein a total of 49 tonnes of food, medical supplies and tents were delivered. 

As reported by Gulf Times, a team from (Lekhwiya) Search and Rescue Team provided relief and co-ordination with the concerned authorities to reach the affected people.
