Qatari Foreign Minister Makes government of Saudi Arabia Responsible for Regional Crisis

Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani made the government of Saudi Arabia responsible for creating the regional crisis in the Middle East in a pres round in Washington, US, published here Saturday.

In his opinion, Abdulrahman al-Thani talked about the conflicts with the boycott to Qatar, the bombings in Yemen and the interventions in internal affairs in Lebanon.

He added that the political manuevers of Saudi Arabia in Lebanon are similar to the ones against Qatar.

'These methods have been seen here in our region, intimidating the smaller countries,' said al-Thani, stating that the Saudi Rabian maneuvers put the Middle East in a potential danger.

'What happened in Qatar six months ago, is now happening in Leganon right now,' al-Thani said.

Al-Thani expects to meet US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Washington, and insisted that the Qatari government is ready for negotiations able to solve the dispute with Ryad and another three Arab nations participating in a blockade against Doha.

In June this year, Saudi Arabia, US, Egypt and Bahrein broke diplomatic relations with Doha and closed the only ground border of the emirate under the accusation -always denied by Doha- that Qatar is supporting terrorist groups and is getting close to positions in favour of Iran.
