Visa for GCC nationals to enter UAE via land ports?
The UAE government will introduce electronic entry visas ( at the land ports) for GCC nationals and other nationalities from next year as part of the base of its electronic services system, including the issuance of visas, the Al Ittihad newspaper reported, quoting Lt. Col. Saeed Hamad Al Rashedi, Director of the Department of Land Ports in Abu Dhabi. “It will help save time and efforts,” the newspaper said.
Currently, If you are a national citizen of one of GCC countries, you neither require a visa, nor a sponsor to visit the UAE. You will simply need to produce your GCC country passport or ID card upon arrival at the point of entry into the UAE, said the official website.
