North Korea Tests New Strategic and Anti-Ship Missiles
The Korean Central News Agency reported a major military event today. North Korea successfully tested several strategic cruise and anti-ship missiles.
Military engineers conducted these operational efficiency tests for a specific warship. They tested these weapons from the destroyer named Choi Hyon.
Leader Kim Jong Un Supervises
Leader Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the missile launch today. Senior defense officials and naval commanders accompanied him during the test.
The military launched two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-ship missiles. The crew tested the integrated weapons command system of the destroyer.

The strategic cruise missiles flew for over two hours. Their flight times ranged between 7869 and 7920 seconds.
The anti-ship missiles flew between 1960 and 1973 seconds. These weapons traveled rapidly over the waters off the west coast.
All launched missiles hit their intended targets with high accuracy.
Future Naval Expansion Plans
Kim also received briefings on future naval weapons systems today. Shipbuilders currently construct two additional destroyers for the national fleet.
These future warships will significantly strengthen North Korean naval capabilities. The news agency emphasized Pyongyang's commitment to nuclear war deterrence.
The military focuses heavily on developing advanced strategic strike capabilities. Leaders want the armed forces ready for a rapid response.
