1679 new coronavirus cases reported in Oman

The Ministry of Health has registered 1679 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Wednesday.

Among those, 366 new cases were of expats and 1313 of Omanis.

The total cases in the country has now touched 61247, including 39038 recoveries and 281 deaths, according to MOH.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
