Asian women commits suicide in Muscat, Rumors spreads on Social Media

Muscat: An expat woman of "Asian nationality" committed suicide in the capital area, police reported on Wednesday, denying any criminal suspicion in the case.

In a statement online, Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that social media rumours about the case were incorrect, stating, "The Royal Oman Police confirms that the crime in a house in Al Mawaleh South area is a suicide case involving a woman of Asian nationality, and that there is no criminal suspicion, as what circulated in social media."
