Bidbid-Sur road construction work to start by MoTC on two tunnels

In the words of the  Undersecretary for Transportation, construction work on two tunnels on the Bidbid-Sur road would be started by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC).

In Nidab village and  in Wadi al Aqa ,one tunnel, extending 600m, will be built. To protect road users in case of landslides, the Wadi al Aqa will be having two other tunnels. Around 450-600m would be their length approximately.

In the first stage from Bidbid to Ibra there would be 12 multi-level interchanges included in the project. When it is completed, the project will ease traffic movement. Finally, to help traffic flow in all weather conditions, it will have rainwater drainage facilities and bridges.
