Dhofar Education Directorate Honors Over 350 Outstanding Students

The Directorate General of Education celebrated amazing student achievements today. Officials hosted a massive event at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex in Salalah.

They honored over 350 outstanding individuals for their 2025 educational activities.

Fostering Creativity and Excellence

Dr Intisar bint Abdullah Al-Ambusaidi proudly sponsored the exciting ceremony. She serves as Undersecretary for Educational Support Programs.

Dr Maizon bint Bakhit Al-Shahri delivered a powerful keynote speech. She directs the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar.

Dr Al-Shahri emphasized the vital importance of daily student activities. These programs build strong personalities and develop essential life skills.

They perfectly balance theoretical knowledge with practical, creative abilities. Student programs also refine unique talents and support modern innovation.

Highlighting Top National Achievers

The ceremony highlighted several incredible individual national accomplishments. Abrar bint Mohammed Al-Yafai won first place across Oman.

She dominated the prestigious 2025 International Letter Writing Competition. Abrar attends the Tawi Atir School for Girls.

Tartil bint Mohammed Al-Rawas secured a brilliant second-place finish. She competed in the national Poetry, Story and Novel Competition.

Turki bin Tariq Beit Rajab won a special jury award. He performed the best heritage melody in the National Chanting Competition.

The Dhofar Governorate team also achieved third place in chanting.

Beautiful Artistic Performances

Talented local students presented several beautiful artistic segments. The Oriental Ensemble performed two musical pieces perfectly.

A talented student sang a solo piece titled Land of Frankincense. The audience watched a visual presentation highlighting massive student achievements.

A vibrant heritage segment proudly displayed local Omani culture.

Recognizing Broad Educational Success

Officials recognized students across many different creative fields today. These fields included theater, musical performance, and classical Arabic oratory.

Winners also excelled in drawing, fine arts, and reading competitions. Organizers also honored dedicated activity supervisors and committee members.

Many students won major regional and international initiatives. They won the Children's Art competition in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Students also excelled in the Egypt in the Eyes of the World contest. Other winners dominated the Be Careful and Visual Vision competitions.

These celebrations show a deep commitment to local educational activities. The Directorate actively fosters a strong environment for student creativity.
