Ministry calls on people to sight Eid moon in Oman

Oman's Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has requested that the open screen the moon on Tuesday evening, which will help decide when the main day of Eid Al Fitr will be. 

In an announcement, the service stated, "We approach the natives and inhabitants to screen the murmuring of the sickle for the period of Shawal during the current year, on Tuesday night the 29 of Ramadan A H 1440 comparing to June 4, 2019." 

In the event that the Eid moon is located, the service has mentioned general society to contact the Wali workplaces, legal specialists or to contact the service straightforwardly at - 24644037, 24644070, 24644015, 24644004, 24694400. 

The principal day of Eid Al Fitr falls on the primary day of the long stretch of Shawal. This year it will either be Wednesday, June 5 or Thursday, June 6.
