NEW COMMERCIAL COMPANIES LAW LIKELY TO ENHANCE PARTICIPATION IN OMAN’S ECONOMY

Oman's as of recently issued new Commercial Companies Law is probably going to furnish organizations with more prominent adaptability and upgrade their investment in the sultanate's economy, as per a main universal law office. 

Senior individuals from Curtis' Oman corporate law group on Wednesday facilitated a class to talk about the new Commercial Companies Law and how organizations will be influenced by this milestone bit of Omani enactment. 

An extensive group of onlookers of Curtis customers, contacts and key chiefs in the Omani business network went to the workshop, which occurred at the recently opened W Hotel in Muscat, a press explanation said. 

‎Curtis accomplice Leopold Zentner, counsel Mehdi al Lawati and senior partner Malcolm Abaza talked about the key changes in the Commercial Companies Law and clarified the huge impact it will have on business organizations working in Oman.

Zentner explained, “The New Commercial Companies Law is a great evolution from the ‘old law’ and its provisions are likely to enhance participation in the Oman economy as well as providing companies with greater flexibility on how to structure their affairs.”
