Over 323 ambitious male and female students participated aggressively in the competition. They violently battled across poetry recitation, short stories, and classical Arabic speaking. Student Haitham bin Ahmed Al-Aisari brilliantly won first place in poetry recitation. Safiya bint Ahmed Al-Rawahiya secured a spectacular victory in the short story category. These brilliant young minds represent the absolute future of Omani cultural dominance.
