High-Level Military Talks

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi held high-level military talks today. He serves as the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces. He received Lieutenant General Paolo Pezzotti at his busy office in Al Murtafa’a Camp. Pezzotti currently commands the highly trained Special Operations Forces of the Republic of Italy. The Italian commander and his accompanying military delegation are currently visiting the Sultanate.

Discussing Common Interests

The Chief of Staff warmly welcomed the visiting Italian military guest today. During the closed-door meeting, the generals discussed a number of highly classified military topics. They openly exchanged professional views on matters of common international security interest. Oman continuously seeks to strengthen its tactical relationships with friendly European military forces. These vital meetings ensure the absolute readiness of the Sultan's Armed Forces.
