Oman National Day Do’s and Don’ts
Since the Sultanate celebrates its National Day on November 18, from November 1 to November 30, motorists will be allowed to decorate their cars with stickers as commemoration of the same as stated by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
So long as drivers can see through them the vehicles and objects coming from behind motorists may place stickers on the body of their vehicles and on rear windows according to ROP regulations. Lights, the front windshield, side windows and plate numbers must not be covered by the stickers. The fixed side windows of 4 wheel drive vehicles is the only exception here.
Unfixed textiles should not be used to decorate vehicles and vehicle hood covers are not allowed similarly. The alteration of the shape and color of the vehicles are also not allowed
Finally, the drivers line of sight should not be blocked by using stickers as per some experts
