Oman Strengthens Global Ties with Botswana and the Philippines

The Sultanate of Oman reached two major diplomatic milestones today. The country concluded a high-level visit from Africa and shared a message with Southeast Asia.

Botswana President Departs Oman

President Doma Gideon Poku of Botswana left the country this morning. He finished a productive working visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

His official delegation accompanied him during his departure. Several high-ranking officials from the Oman Investment Authority saw him off.

The President departed directly from the Royal Private Airport in Muscat. This visit successfully strengthened the economic and political ties between both nations.

Sultan Sends Message to the Philippines

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq sent a written message to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. today. The message focuses on the strong bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Nasser bin Saeed Al-Manwari delivered the official message in Manila. He currently serves as the accredited Omani Ambassador to the Philippines.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. received the Ambassador at the Presidential Palace. The leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various vital sectors.

This communication reflects the Sultanate's commitment to building lasting international friendships.
