As per reports in Times of Oman, The Ministry of Health guided the school to be closed as a careful step to contain the spread of disease in the premises. 

"The school the executives met early today led by Dr. Khalfan Al Bharwani, CBFS Chairman and chose to suspend all classes and every other action for a time of 14 days from March 5, 2020," the announcement read.
