Omani Band Performs At International Arts Forum For Disabled Individuals

The Omani group “With Disability We Create” participated in a major international event. They performed at the International Forum for Arts of People with Special Disabilities. The event took place at the famous Egyptian Opera House in Cairo. The group presented a powerful theatrical performance titled “Secrets” on the small stage. The audience showed remarkable attendance and deep interaction with the performance.

Conveying Important Humanitarian And Social Messages

The play addressed important humanitarian and social messages regarding people with disabilities. It highlighted their fundamental right to integration and active participation in society. The Omani delegation to the forum included 27 talented individuals with disabilities. Abdullah Al-Balushi wrote the play "Secrets," and Issa Al-Subhi directed the performance. The show addressed several complex issues related to the lives of disabled individuals.

It presented direct messages about their incredible ability to be active community members. The play specifically addressed issues faced by women with disabilities in society. It highlighted their right to form a family and live their lives normally. The performance also addressed hearing disabilities through a special song composed by the band.
