Omani Crude Oil Claws Back $1.52 Following Brutal Market Drop
A Slight Market Rebound
The energy markets remain an incredibly volatile battleground this week. After suffering a massive $8.25 drop yesterday, the official price of Omani crude oil finally saw a slight rebound today. The price for January delivery clawed back $1.52, officially settling at $94.58 per barrel. Traders are aggressively buying the dip, but the daily price swings remain highly unpredictable amid shifting geopolitical tensions.
Monthly Averages Remain Strong
Despite the chaotic daily fluctuations, the long-term revenue picture for the Sultanate remains highly lucrative. The monthly average price of Omani crude oil for delivery this November reached a staggering $114.07 per barrel. This represents a massive $26.23 increase compared to the delivery prices recorded last October. The Omani economy remains well-insulated by these high monthly averages, even when daily spot prices take a sudden beating.
