Omani Defence Minister Welcomes UK Deputy Prime Minister

His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said welcomed David Lammy today. Sayyid Shihab serves as the Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs.

Lammy serves as the UK Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice. The leaders met at the Al Murtafa’a Camp office in Muscat.

Discussing Strong Historical Ties

The two leaders reviewed the strong historical relations between Oman and the UK. They discussed their ongoing bilateral cooperation across various important fields.

This strategic cooperation serves the common interests of both friendly nations. Both countries want to build upon their shared diplomatic history.
