Sabotage on 4 Commercial Ships in Gulf of Oman

The United Arab Emirates says four business ships were exposed to "damage activities" Sunday close to its regional waters in the Gulf of Oman.

Specialists gave no subtleties, be that as it may, on what sort of treachery they think or to whom the boats have a place, other than saying they were of various nationalities.

They state nobody was harmed and no synthetic substances or fuel were spilled from the boats.

The UAE denied Iranian and Lebanese news reports of blasts at the port of Fujairah and included "news sources must be capable and depend on authority sources."

The UAE says universal bodies are assisting with the examination.

"Doing demonstrations of treachery on business and non military personnel vessels and compromising the security and lives of those on board is a genuine advancement," the remote issues service said Sunday, asking all countries to take their duties to avoid activities by anybody hoping to undermine sea wellbeing.

UAE authorities declined to state who they thought was behind whatever occurred on the boats.

The U.S. Sea Administration cautioned a week ago of what it calls the "expanded probability that Iran as well as its local intermediaries could make a move against U.S. also, accomplice interests... by focusing on business vessels, including oil tankers or U.S. military vessels."

There has been no reaction from Iran. In any case, the leader of parliament's national security board of trustees tweeted "security of the south of the Persian Gulf resembles glass."
