Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Mu’azzam just landed in Brunei Darussalam tonight. He started a highly calculated three-day state visit after concluding his China tour. Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah personally invited the Omani leader to his wealthy nation. Crown Prince Al-Hajj Al-Muhtadee Billah greeted the Sultan at Brunei International Airport. Do not mistake this for a simple courtesy call. Oman desperately needs to forge massive new economic alliances right now. The Sultan quickly shook hands with Brunei's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Several top Omani diplomats and embassy staff also attended the formal airport reception.

Sultan Haitham brought a massive, high-powered official delegation to secure real deals. Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq joined the trip. Minister of the Royal Office Lieutenant General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani also attended. The Head of the Oman Investment Authority tagged along to hunt for fresh capital. The Minister of Transport also joined the delegation to discuss technical infrastructure. Oman refuses to let global economic opportunities slip away right now.
