Three expats held in drug cases

Muscat: Three expats have been arrested with over 250 capsules of heroin and a quantity of crystal drug and psychotropic tablets in their possession.

In a statement, the Royal Oman Police said: "After careful tracking operations, the General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has arrested three expatriates in the Governorate of Muscat in two separate cases on charges of trafficking and promoting narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and in their possession (252) capsules of heroin and a quantity of crystal drug and psychotropic tablets."
