Two drown, six rescued near beach in Oman: ROP

 Two people drowned and six others were rescued near the Wilayat of Seeb beach, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

ROP did not reveal any information pertaining to the nationality of the victims.

In a statement the ROP said: “Six people of different nationalities were rescued by the coast guard after they were about to drown in Soor Al Hadeed in the Wilayat of Seeb while they were swimming.”

“Two other were found dead near Seeb beach,” the statement added.
