Celebrating Authentic Omani Heritage
The Omani Camel Racing Federation organized a thrilling sporting event today. The exciting competitions took place in the beautiful Wilayat of Adam. The massive race witnessed the enthusiastic participation of about 340 fast camels. The organizers divided the spectacular event into 16 highly competitive racing rounds. They dedicated 11 rounds specifically to the young Al-Hajaij camel category. These younger camels raced fiercely over a challenging three-kilometer distance. The remaining five rounds featured the older Al-Laqaya camel category. These more experienced animals competed over a longer four-kilometer track.
