Attempt to smuggle alcohol at the Al Dara port was foiled by Oman Customs

An attempt to smuggle alcohol at the Al Dara port was foiled by Customs officials.

According to authorities, the bottles of alcohol were hidden under the rear seat and inside a box in the vehicle used by the smugglers.

A statement by the officials read, "Customs at Al Dara port thwarted a smuggling attempt. Alcohol bottles were found hidden inside a box and under the rear seat of a vehicle."
