Oman Motosport: Racer’s Eye Podium Places in Fourth Round

The podium places in the fourth round of the UAE Rally Championship are within the sight of Veteran Omani rally drivers Hamid Al Qasmi and Khalid Soomar as they have been performing well in the recent times.

During the weekend, the UAE championship fourth round is expected to take place in Al Dhaid, Sharjah.

In the five-round championship in Ras Al Khaimah in April this year, Khalid Soomar finished third in the third round and presently leads the championship with 51 points.

With compatriot Issa Al Wardi as the co-pilot, the Omani racer, who drives a Mitsubishi Evo 7, is doing his best to clinch a podium place in the fourth round thereby keep his championship lead intact.

Hamid Al Qasmi has said that he is grateful for the support and encouragement of UAE’s Sheikh Abdullah Al Qasimi and expects to do well in Sharjah.
