The Royal Oman Police has launched a nationwide awareness campaign to educate businesses on the benefits of registering their workers through their e-visa system.

The campaign is being carried out in collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), and has so far been spread to seven wilayats, with Khasab, the administrative capital of the Musandam Governorate, being the latest. The others are Sur, Ibra, Nizwa, Salalah, Rustaq and Muscat.

According to ROP officials, the work e-visa will be launched soon. “The e-visa department has made a presentation at the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Khasab, Musandam, as part of its continuing introductory campaign for the procedure to register through the new e-visa system,” ROP said in a statement.
