Bimmah Sinkhole

HOW TO GET THERE

Take the road to Sur and pass Quriyat from Muscat.The place is a great spot to capture some scenic photographs as this quaint fishing village is well worth a look and there is a fort too.

Follow the signs to Hawiyat Najm Park while Continuing along highway 17 towards Sur. There are signposts saying “Sinkhole” once you’re close to the exit .

Don’t follow the direction to Bimmah or you’ll miss the sinkhole as when you turn off the highway, turn left. From the main highway, it’s about one kilometre.From the parking area, then walk to the sinkhole is less than 100 metres.
