What Happens Inside Your Body If You Always Eat Pork

On top of that, pigs are normally exposed to parasites, infection and other creatures which can be transferred to human beings. Below are some of the dangerous parasites and infection that humans can get from pork:

 >  Taenia solium–an intestinal parasite which may lead to tissue contamination and loss of appetite.

 >  Menangle infection– this infection may cause fever, chills, migraines, and sweating.

 >  Trichinella– this parasitic roundworm is very dangerous which may cause edema, myalgia, fever, and malaise.

 >  Hepatitis E– it’s a viral irritation which can cause nausea, jaundice and weariness. Several cases may also lead to liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.

The same study confirms that cooking pork appropriately may decrease the dangers of the above-mentioned parasites; however, there are still some chances that they survive even after cooking. If you really can’t avoid eating pork, below are some of the tips to protect yourself from the harmful toxins and microorganism from pork:

 > Make sure to use a thermometer when cooking pork, this will guarantee you to cook the pork properly. The suggested temperature for cooking regular pork is not below 145° F while not below 160° F for ground pork.

 > Store raw pork but keep it away from other food and substances.

 > Wash your hands before handling a raw pork

 > Make sure to buy and consume pork free from any medication. Buy all-natural pork from pigs raised without antibiotics or ractopamine. Look for antibiotic use proclamation or markings saying “No anti-infections agents used”.
