30 dead due to flood, landslides: Nepal Police

Floods and landslides triggered by severe monsoon rains have killed at least 30 people across the country, with the highest death toll of seven reported from Sunsari. Four have gone missing.

Thousands of houses have been inundated. In Saptari, floods have deluged around 15,000 houses.

According to statement said Jhapa- 4, Morang- 3, Sunsari- 7, Bhara- 1, Sharlahi- 1, Bhake -3,  Pachthar – 3, Dhang- 1, Shindhuli- 5, Palpa- 1, Bardiya- 1, Nepal Police said 32 persons have been killed in the past month due to flood and landslides.

Home Minister Janardan Sharma gives the order to protect the people and take them in safe place.
