Cancer-stricken Woman Marries the Love of Her Life before Passing Away 18 Hours Later

She got married to the love of her life one year after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Getting married and building a home for our family is probably one of everybody’s goals. Everybody needs to love and be loved—and it is never too late to exercise your right to do so. Heather Lindsay believes it is never too late, even if she was already dying after being diagnosed with cancer.

Two days before Christmas of 2016, Heather was told by doctors that she had breast cancer, and it was a very aggressive type. Months passed and her cancer was spreading all over her body, affecting her way of life. When her doctors learned that Heather and her boyfriend David intended to get married in December 22, 2017, they suggested to move up the date especially when time was running out for Heather.
