Man Who Survived Las Vegas Massacre Tragically Dies Weeks Later
One of the survivors of the Las Vegas shooting has been killed in a hit-and-run in southern Nevada, US.
Rory McClellan was killed on 17 November while hitch-hiking just outside Las Vegas on State Route 160 in Pahrump, Nevada.
McClellan, who was 52-years-old, was one of the survivors of the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, on 1 October, where 58 people were killed by Stephen Paddock.
His wife, Denise McClellan, spoke to local media to say she doesn’t understand why Rory was subjected t both incidents.
She told KSNV:
I don’t understand why he wasn’t taken at the shooting, but a month later he was taken this way?
I hope my husband found peace and he’s safe now.
Understandably angry, Denise also said she’s consumed with anger at the thought of her husband’s lifeless body being left there on the side of the road.
She continued:
I’m angry. I feel that he was under the influence of something or drunk and didn’t want to get caught, so he bailed and left my husband laying there in the street.
He doesn’t deserve that.
