Pakistani Guard Faces Life Imprisonment after Brutally Murdering Austrian-Filipina Waitress

The police officer who first arrived at the scene said the green container had been splattered with blood of Bayr and a trail of blood was present leading to the place where he saw Husnain sitting on the ground while his arm was still locked around Bayr’s neck and still hitting her with the use of an electric drill.

The jury also counted on the evidences produced by forensic expert Dr. Lam Chi-chung and had taken into account the multiple injuries acquired by Bayr.

It was for that strong proof and validation that the jury rejected Husnain’s claim that after he took the drug called “ice” before he committed the crime, he heard stranger voices telling him that he would be killed by Bayr and that he was chased when she transformed into a witch.

Psychiatric experts concluded that Husnain’s condition was due to the drug “ice” which had caused biochemical changes in his brain that led to its mental abnormality.

Meanwhile, Husnain’s lawyer David Boyton urged the jury to rule the case as manslaughter claiming his client’s responsibility in killing the victim was unintentional and was due to the drug which he took.

It was learned that Husnain was born in Hong Kong and was educated up to Form 1 at age 16, had a clear record and was the breadwinner in their family.

After the court had given its decision, Husnain was led by police escorts while his relatives wailed on his way out of the courtroom.

In an interview with The SUN, Wilma Bayr, Andrea’s mother expressed to be happy with the outcome of the trial.

“Masaya ako at nakamitnani Andrea anghustisya. Matatahimiknasiya.”

Wilma will be assisted by her lawyer in filing a civil case for damages right after the trial.
