Oman Chamber Launches Five New Training Programs for Businesses

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently announced five new training programs. These initiatives aim to develop the essential skills of local business owners.

The specialized training sessions will officially begin tomorrow, Sunday. Officials want to enhance private sector efficiency across five vital economic sectors.

These sectors include industry, tourism, agriculture, logistics, and mining.

Strategic Economic Goals

These new programs perfectly align with the ambitious Oman Vision 2040 objectives. The Chamber wants to improve the local business environment significantly.

They also aim to expand the base of national economic diversification. Trainers will provide business owners with applied knowledge and practical skills.

Participants will also conduct field visits and prepare detailed applied reports.

Chamber Leadership Support

Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas chairs the Chamber's Board of Directors. He says these programs actively support and empower the private sector.

He views human investment as a fundamental pillar for institutional competitiveness. Zakaria bin Abdullah Al-Saadi serves as the CEO of the Chamber.

He explains that these efforts develop vital technical and behavioral skills. Leaders in small and medium enterprises will benefit greatly from this training.

Details of the Five Programs

The Industrial Excellence program improves production efficiency in manufacturing facilities. This specific program targets factory managers in Muscat, North Al Batinah, and Al Dakhiliyah.

The Tourism Leadership program empowers emerging entrepreneurs to build sustainable projects. Officials will run this tourism program in Al Dakhiliyah, Musandam, and Al Wusta.

The Model Farm Management program improves local agricultural production using modern technologies. Farmers in South Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiyah, and Dhofar will participate.

The Logistics program helps companies reduce operational costs and increase delivery speeds. Business owners in Muscat, South Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi will attend.

Finally, the Mining Project Management program promotes a strong culture of sustainable mining. Mining professionals in North Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, and Ad Dhahirah will join.
