Muscat International Airport wins Middle East tourism development award

Muscat: The new passenger terminal building at Muscat International Airport has won the 2018 World Travel Award's Middle East's leading new tourism development project for this year.

"Recognising the great efforts of Oman Airports along with our stakeholders, Muscat Airport wins the 2018 World Travel Awards as the Middle East's Leading New Tourism Development Project 2018," Oman Airports announced in a statement on Thursday.

The 25th World Travel Awards, held in Ras Al Khaimah, is one of the most prestigious international awards which recognises travel and tourism projects.

"Thank you to everyone who voted for Muscat Airport and help us to win the World Travel Awards 2018 as Middle East's Leading New Tourism Development Project 2018," Oman Airports said.
