Ministry of Tourism Launches Massive Global Campaign Targeting High-Spending Travelers

Promoting Luxury Travel in London

Oman is actively chasing the highly lucrative luxury travel market. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism launched a massive joint promotional campaign today in strict cooperation with Visa International. Officials unveiled the ambitious initiative directly at the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM London 2026). Minister of Heritage and Tourism Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi personally attended the launch in the British capital. The campaign aims strictly to attract high-spending tourists eager for exclusive marine and adventure activities.

Leveraging Visa Data Analytics

This is not a blind marketing campaign. The initiative targets Visa cardholders exclusively worldwide. The Ministry relies heavily on advanced data analytics provided by specialized Visa teams to precisely identify the most suitable global market segments. They want to convert casual internet interest directly into highly profitable actual bookings for the Omani tourism sector. Users can easily browse and book these premium packages through the newly upgraded "Experience Oman" application.

Empowering Global Tour Operators

The Ministry did not stop at consumer marketing. They also officially launched the “Oman Tourism Hub” platform to actively support global travel partners. This massive digital platform enables international tour operators to effectively promote the Sultanate of Oman. The hub provides a smart virtual assistant named "Dalila," AI-powered trip planners, and specialized online training courses available in eight different languages. Oman is aggressively expanding its digital tourism promotion tools to boost the national economy.
