Illegal cigarette store shut down in Oman

A metal scrap shop has been closed down for also illegally selling cigarettes, Nizwa Municipality said in a statement online.

"A metal scrap selling shop was used for storing and selling cigarettes, with 2,430 packs and cartons being confiscated. Legal action has been taken, and the shop has been shut," according to municipal authorities in Al Dakhiliyah.
