Muscat Schools Honored in Save and Sustain Youth Challenge

Officials announced the final results of the "Save and Sustain Youth Challenge 2026" today. Organizers honored the winning schools during a lovely ceremony in Al Irfan City.

This exciting environmental competition promotes a strong culture of sustainability among local students.

Educating Students on Sustainability

Oman EFP organized the very first edition of this exciting school competition. They cooperated closely with the Directorate General of Education in Muscat Governorate.

Eight different schools participated in the competition this year. The program specifically targets enthusiastic students from grades five through nine.

The competition aims to spread the vital culture of environmental conservation. It also educates students about the correct ways to recycle waste creatively.

Honoring the Winning Schools

Dr Masouma bint Habib Al-Ajmi honored the winning schools at the ceremony. Al-Nabaa School for Girls in Al-Amerat proudly won first place overall.

Sultan Faisal bin Turki School for Boys won the award for best presentation. Shamsaa Al-Khalili School in Bousher won the award for best practical coordination.

Finally, Al-Watiya School for Boys in Muttrah secured the award for best innovation.
