A police officer has been stabbed to death in a busy shopping mall in Oman.
The incident, at City Centre Muscat mall, happened shortly after 1pm. The attacker was disarmed by police and taken to hospital, according to officials.

Fuel prices for the month of January have been announced. According to the latest prices released by the Ministry, M95 petrol will now cost 213 baisas per litre, compared to 207 baisas a litre in December.
