The Omani Society for Writers and Authors just released 42 new books. This exciting 2026 publishing project enriches the local cultural scene completely. Readers will find poetry, novels, short stories, and children's literature.
A New Publishing Milestone
Musandam Printing, Publishing and Distribution House printed all publications independently this year. This local printing approach creates a qualitative addition to the cultural scene.
Engineer Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Saqlawi shared his thoughts today. He called this project a vital tool for promoting Omani writers globally. The association seeks to revitalize the local publishing movement.

Diverse Literary Offerings
The new publications cover many fascinating historical and educational topics. Dr Saif Al-Aghbari edited a biography about Sheikh Al-Faqih Khalaf bin Ziyad. Maryam Al-Badri wrote an exciting book about gamification in future education.
The society also published incredible new poetry collections and short stories. Nihad Al-Amri even translated an English travel book for the society. The association proudly supports national cultural products and local creators.
Since 2008, the group has issued more than 430 intellectual titles.
