Sultan Haitham Issues Special Royal Pardon for Prison Inmates
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq issued a special royal pardon today. He graciously pardoned a group of prison inmates convicted in various cases.
Releasing Citizens and Foreigners
An official source from the Royal Oman Police confirmed the details. The special royal pardon honored exactly 382 inmates.
The pardoned group includes both Omani citizens and foreign nationals.
Celebrating Eid al-Adha
The Supreme Commander issued this pardon to coincide with Eid al-Adha. He timed this generous act specifically for the year 1447 AH.
The Sultan showed deep consideration and mercy for the families of these inmates.
