Colon cancer is one of the most common types of cancer – it’s not as deadly as some of its siblings, but it can still cause major problems and should be detected as early as possible. 2. Not eating fruit and veggies

For optimal prevention of colon cancer and other diseases, eat leafy green vegetables, plums, apples, pears and lemons more often.

3. Regulate your vitamin D levels

Vitamin D is an important nutrient that plays a big role in numerous body processes. We mostly get our vitamin D from the sun, but it’s found in fish and eggs as well.

4. No processed food

Processed food are very dangerous and the main reason for inflammation in the body. They can raise the risk of numerous diseases including colon cancer.

5. Avoid eating red meat

As we mentioned before, red meat has been related to colon cancer in several studies. It’s not the meat that’s problematic – the animals that provide it are usually fed with glyphosate-filled grains which can seriously damage our health.
