Oman Leads UN Efforts to Ban Nuclear Weapons in the Middle East
Oman leads United Nations efforts to ban Middle Eastern nuclear weapons. The Omani Permanent Mission organized a special side event today.
They cooperated seamlessly with the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs. The major event took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Diplomats met during the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference.

Ambassador Omar bin Said Al Kathiri delivered an inspiring speech. He serves as the Permanent Representative of Oman to the UN.
He also presided over the Seventh Session of the Zone Conference. He said Omani leadership reflects deep international confidence today.
