Rwandan President Visits Razat Farm To Explore Omani Agricultural Development

His Excellency President Paul Kagame visited the impressive Razat Farm today. The Rwandan President toured the facility in the Wilayat of Salalah. His Excellency Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi received the President upon arrival. Al Kindi serves as the Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs. His Excellency Engineer Hilal bin Mohammed Al Waili also attended the official reception. At the beginning of the visit, the President learned about the farm's history. He listened to a detailed explanation regarding its modern agricultural objectives.

Developing Sustainable Food Production

The farm utilizes advanced capabilities and equipment to boost local animal production. Engineers follow the best international practices to ensure highly sustainable agricultural yields. The facility also provides a very unique and educational tourist experience. It makes agriculture a strong element of tourist and economic attraction for the region. This aligns perfectly with Oman's ongoing efforts to develop the national agricultural sector. Ensuring food security remains a top strategic priority for the Omani government.

Touring The Diverse Facilities

His Excellency toured the various distinct facilities located across the massive farm. He inspected the diverse agricultural fields, including the lush coconut and banana trees. He also viewed the diverse crops of fresh fruits and vegetables grown onsite. The delegation then learned about the specialized veterinary clinic and advanced testing laboratories. They concluded the tour by visiting the modern dairy and dairy products production plant. The visit highlights the potential for agricultural knowledge exchange between Oman and Rwanda.
