The large courtyard provides a safe space for weekly community social gatherings. It represents the everyday, authentic faith of Omani citizens perfectly and clearly.

Planners built it to anchor the rapidly expanding Al Ghubra residential neighborhood. They needed a highly reliable sanctuary for the massively growing local population. It accommodates a massive, overflowing congregation every single Friday during weekly prayers. The architecture features a classic, stark white, and highly functional exterior facade.
