Oman Joins 42nd GCC Municipal Officials Meeting Via Video Conference

The Sultanate of Oman participated in a crucial regional planning session today. Officials attended the 42nd meeting of senior municipal officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council. Engineer Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashmi chaired the comprehensive video conference. He currently serves as the Governor of South Al Batinah. Preparing For The Ministerial Summit

At the conclusion of the session, officials drafted several new recommendations. These proposals aim to develop and streamline Gulf municipal work significantly. The committee will present these recommendations at the upcoming 29th ministerial meeting. Their Excellencies the Ministers concerned with municipal affairs will meet soon. They scheduled the next major summit for September 10 in Manama, Bahrain. Engineer Mohammed bin Saif Al-Amri attended the virtual meeting representing Oman. Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Maamari also participated in the collaborative session. These meetings ensure the Gulf region maintains a unified approach to urban expansion.
