11. Al Zulfa Mosque, Seeb

Locals affectionately call this beautiful building the Royal Guards of Oman Mosque. It sits very conveniently near the popular, family-friendly Al Sahwa Public Park. The architecture features highly unique geometric shapes and very bold roof lines. It forms a stunning visual anchor for the entire busy Seeb area.

Architectural Wonders

The government built it to serve the rapidly expanding Seeb community. It also serves the nearby Royal Guards effectively during their daily prayers. You will notice several distinctive cone-shaped green domes immediately upon your approach. Beautiful tinted glasswork completely surrounds the highly decorative mihrab section inside.

The Traveler Experience

Colorful lights illuminate the incredible cone-shaped domes every single evening flawlessly. The surrounding gardens provide a highly peaceful retreat for weary city travelers. Photographers love capturing the glowing green domes against the dark night sky.
